𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄

April 2020

Record (17-10)

Top Hitter- Tommy Edman Went 32/110 .290. 5 HR, 13 RBI, .358 OBP over a 27 game span. Edman is quickly becoming one of the better players within the organization.

Top Pitcher- Carlos Martinez Bolstered the rotation with a 1.27 ERA over 28.1 innings pitched. The 10.2K/2.9BB mark was some of his personal best over his career.

Team Overview- The Cardinals played solid baseball during the month. They were able to overcome a 3-week loss of Kolten Wong (Fractured Foot). While both the pitching and hitting haven't been able to peak at the same time. They've done enough within the course of 9 innings more times than not.

GM Jonathan Ferguson Thoughts- "I've been satisfied with the resolve of the club thus far. The guys are stepping up around some of the foundational pieces that we need to get going. It's a long marathon and figuring out different ways to succeed is fun to watch. We're obviously not a finished product, saying that I was pumped to see some new faces take the reigns."
