Carlson to remain in St. Louis

Dylan Carlson has inked a 5 year- 116 Million dollar contract extension with the Cardinals. Carlson 27, the All-Star has become the offensive face of the franchise.

"The bottom line, we got it done. Both sides were professional, and it went pretty smoothly" said GM Jonathan Ferguson.

"I wanted to be here. The group of guys we have inside this clubhouse made it easy. Personally, I feel my best baseball is in front of me, and to win another Championship is my goal" said Carlson.

2030 - $ 24.4 M (Player Option)
