(FTD, St. Louis)

The Cardinals went into the late-night hours on the east coast to finalize a deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Kevin Cron, the monster of a human being is heading to St. Louis in somewhat of a surprise move (according to sources). Cron stands at 6'5 250 pounds and is filled with huge power. The team decided to part with another Starting Pitching prospect Angel Rondon from double-A Springfield.

St. Louis has struggled to find any semblance of a batting order capable of power throughout the season. The team currently sits at 88 Homeruns, which ranks 12th in the National League, and 25th in all of Major League Baseball. "I really think this team is basically some additional power production away from being extremely legit. We lead the division in hits but just haven't been able to get the base clearing production." said the St. Louis GM.

The team has been searching for that additional middle of the order production all season. "We're about out of names, and almost time. This move was a direct result. I just wasn't confident in staying course and just hoping it works out. I'm forcing the issue. We'll see if it pays off."
