Notable Players:
C Andrew Knizner- The Cardinal's top catching prospect continues to tear the cover off the ball. It's just a matter of when he'll have a fulltime home with the big club.
OF Dylan Carlson- The top-ranked prospect of the organization continues to live up to the ranking. Switch-hitting his way to the team lead in HR's, RBI, BB, and SLG.
SP Genesis Cabrera- Lefty flame thrower has bolstered the rotation with his 8-1, 3.97 ERA. It's still not yet known the future direction on the major league staff. However, its safe to say he'll have a role with the major league team in the future. His stuff will play at the next level.
(AA Springfield Cardinals)
1B Elehuris Montero- One of the biggest power threat prospects has delivered with a team-leading 16 home runs, and 54 Runs batted in.
3B Nolan Gorman- His season has been exactly what most were expecting for the slugger. The average still isn't nearly good enough, but the power is still a factor with 12 HRs.
(A+ Palm Beach Cardinals)
SP Alvaro Seijas- The righty has been the ace of the staff. His 2.77 over 17 starts and 91 innings has guided the team to a first-place record.
CL Ronnie Williams- The closer has been fantastic finishing out 19 of 21 save opportunities.
SU Bryan Dobzanski- He has been the guy getting the ball to Williams. The numbers being put up by the righty are impressive. His 1.70 ERA leads the team.
CF Jonatan Machado- The speedster has quickly become the team leader. For a guy known for the glove, he's become an overall force. He's leading the team in hits and stolen bases.
(A Peoria Chiefs)
SP Matthew Liberatore- Top pitching prospect has been outstanding during his 17 starts. He's currently sitting 5-7 with a 2.85 ERA.
SP Tony Locey- The former Georgia 3rd round selection is also putting together a special season. His 2.52 ERA is the rotations best.
General Manager Jonathan Ferguson Thoughts- "Our farm system has been extremely solid in 2020. I'm proud of the way they've handled their business. We're getting back to our foundation of teaching our brand of Cardinals baseball. These guys will be the next line in our strong foundation."
