Adam Kolarek activated from IL

The Cardinals will add veteran left-handed arm Adam Kolarek to their pen. Kolarek is coming off Elbow Ligament reconstruction surgery that kept him out for almost a full calendar year. His rehab assignment for AAA Memphis went 6 IP, 7 H, ER, 2K, 0 BB, and 5 Saves.

"I'm ready to help the club. I'm grateful to be able to pitch again, and that St. Louis has given me this opportunity" said Kolarek. He will join the team on their day off before hosting the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday.
