Cardinals lose Edman for 3 months

The Cardinals received terrible news as their offensive star Tommy Edman went down with injury. It's been announced that he'll miss the next 3 months with torn ankle ligaments.

"It's really devastating. You simply can't sugar coat this. Tommy is one of the team leaders and a huge cog in our engine. We'll try to overcome this loss, but it's going to be tough", said the Cardinals GM.

St. Louis will look to get Tyler O'Neill more at-bats during these times.
