St. Louis makes late night Reliever deal

The Cardinals decided to add another arm to the mix late Monday night. Left-hander Colin Poche has been traded to St. Louis for two prospects. Poche 29, has produced a 3.98 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in his 4 years of MLB service time. The move sent a pair of prospects to Tampa Bay in return. OF Trejyn Fletcher and 3B Bryan Loriga were the named players in the deal.
The role for Poche isn't known at the moment, but the Cardinals General Manager sees a path for innings. "We like the arm from the left-side. Colin come from an organization that produces outstanding arms. Those guys over there take pride in their pitching. We added a quality three pitch mix arm."
