(FTD, St. Louis) The Cardinals organization, Jack Flaherty were able to get contract negotiations done quickly and easily. It was announced that the Cardinals superstar has signed an 8-year, 275 Million dollar extension.

"I'm happy to get this done before the start of the season. I didn't want any distractions from my ultimate goal of winning a championship. This is my home and thrilled to retire a Cardinal" said Flaherty.

Regarded by many as one of the best pitchers in the game. Jack Flaherty 27, is entering the prime of his career. The St. Louis ace is without question the engine that makes the machine go. He enters his 6th season with a career of 3.13 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 1,095 Strikeouts in just 906.2 career innings.
