Corey Kluber joins the Cards Rotation
The Organization has been surveying the total landscape for another legitimate Starter to fill out their rotation. It's the two-time Cy Young winner in Corey Kluber that got the call. "We had a list of around 4 names we had serious conversations with during Free Agency. Corey obviously was one of those. He brings a veteran leadership presence to the club" said GM Ferguson
The Three-time All-Star has a career 3.63 ERA in 312 games pitched. It's a career he's proud of but a championship is something he wants before he hangs it up. "This Organization has proven they can win that ultimate goal. I want another opportunity to win a title" said Kluber. The terms of the deal sit at 4.5 Million dollars for the season.
