OF Rodolfo Duran- Memphis (AAA) The "Big Train" had an unbelievable season for Memphis. He hit .361(150 for 416), .413 OBP, 2.7 WAR, and stole 50 bases. Duran was acquired from the Phillies in a deal involving SP Dakota Hudson. The 21-year-old has a legit 6'3 200- pound frame with room to grow. 2021 1st Round pick OF Tyree Reed
Scouts around the game have stated that he could "challenge for the batting crown" when it's all said and done. Those inside the Cardinals organization have high standards as well. "We think he's going to be a star here. The coaches have done an outstanding job with his development during his time inside our system. He's going to be a fun player to watch," said GM Jonathan Ferguson.
2. IF Matt Boone- Peoria (A) The #11 Pick of the 2025 MLB Draft put together an impressive first full season at the professional ranks. The smooth swinging Right-handed bat from LSU, went 80 for 267 (.300) in 68 games. He was able to put together a .375 OBP, 2.4 WAR, and 8 Home runs. Boone 23, is a fast-track prospect to the Major Leagues. "We see Matt making a big impact with our organization very shortly. The upside of Matt is outstanding. We're still in shock that he fell to us during that draft. He was the top-hitting prospect in that draft."
3.)RP Frank Guerrero- Palm Beach Cardinals (A+)
The Third-round pick of the 2023 Draft has begun his climb up the Cardinals system. The 2025 season was up and down for the left-handed reliever. He put together a 5-4, 21 Save, 3.62 ERA season at just 21 years old. "We would like to see his K per 9 improve as he continues to grow. Thankfully we're in a good position to be patient with our reliever prospects with the amount of depth we've been able to build. The hope is for Frank to provide support to the back end of our games in the future," said Ferguson
4.)OF Luis Ortiz- Johnson City Cardinals (R)
Ortiz, the 1st Round pick (22) of the 2024 MLB Draft put together one of the best Minor League seasons you'll ever see in 2025. In just 146 official At-bats he produced .418, 35 HR, .500 OBP, 6.1 WAR,18 SB, 396 OPS+, and a slugging percentage through the roof. "Luis is still so young at 19 years old. He's still learning how to play the game. However, I will go on record saying that he has some legitimate skills that I've never seen before at that age. His power is freakish. We try not to put too much pressure on the kid, he's super talented."
5.)UTI Angelo Pedroza- State College Spikes (A-)
The Cardinal Top-100 prospect had a Sophomore slump during the 2025 season. He was unable to get anything going, during an injury-plagued campaign. The result was the bat taking a step back at both Peoria and State College. The organization still believes Angelo has a tremendous future ahead of him. "He can play all over the diamond. We love the versatility he brings to the game."
6.)RP Steve Ebert- State College Spikes (A-)
Ebert was selected in the 2nd Round of the 2025 Draft at #42. He's a prospect that'll be in the Major Leagues sooner rather than later. His Velocity can top 100 from the right side. His first year produced some solid numbers of 1.67 ERA, 17 Saves, 1.02 WHIP in 32.1 innings. "We like the makeup of Steve. He loves to compete and mixes well with his two-pitches."
7.)P Francois Castillo- Memphis Redbirds (AAA)
When Castillo was brought in from Milwaukee via trade the thought was he'd be an arm they could count on down the road. His development is still ongoing to fully commit to his future standing. "Francois 3-mix pitch ability is solid. We're still trying to figure out what role he'll be moving forward."
8.) OF Tyree Reed- Springfield Cardinals (AA)
The #20 pick of the 2021 MLB is primed to potentially make his Major League debut next season. Reed predominantly know for his elite level of play in the Outfield has the organization to see the next step of progression with the bat. "We love Tyree, he's been a guy that has generated plenty of interest from other organizations. The ability to run and field at his degree is coveted in our game. He stole 50 bags this past season like it was nothing."
9.) C Jose Chavira- International Complex
The 19-year-old prospect has the potential to play this game from behind the plate for many years. His rare blend of bat and glove make him a positive light. "The Catcher position is by far the most difficult spot to evaluate. We think he can find a home somewhere within our organization."
10.) P Danny Moreno- International Complex
In terms of raw potential from the mound, Danny has the most. His fastball, Slider tools jump off the charts. His 6'7' frame make his pitches explode from a different hitting plane that most hitters are accustomed to. If the third pitch can be developed the sky will be the limit with Moreno. "I do think Danny can become a player in our league with the right attitude."
